Wtf Wednesday on Thursday

4 miles on the schedule today....Done!  Another fantastic morning for a run.  You could not ask for much better weather with temps in the high 50's!!!  Yes, you read that correct!  Absolutely perfect in my opinion.

---------------------

I forgot yesterday was Wednesday so here you go, we'll do it today ---

1)  Part of me is happy to see my 401k dwindling away because I know I can purchase more shares now and I don't need the funds to live on right now(although I feel sorry for the people just about to retire that will now have to continue working) but ---- WTF ---- can someone please kick S&P's ass!  I can only imagine the kind of conversations that the management at S&P and the US Government are having at this very moment.

2)  I read an article this morning about new anchor salaries.  $17 million for Matt Lauer - and they say he's worth that?  WTF people.  Give me a break.  People would kill for a job like that a $1 million.  Also, Regis Philbin leaving his show because the network wants to reduce his $15 million annual salary.  Did anyone tell these guys we are in the middle of a poor economy??  WTF!

That's all I have for today.

Have a great day and......Keep Running!!!!!

  1. I've always wondered that about stars getting paid so much. I mean, what can you even do with that much money?!?!

  2. I'm so sick of the celebrities and politicians making such huge salaries... and then military and teacher pay keeps getting cut. WTF?!?! As a small business person myself, I'm getting pinched hard on both ends... consumers are scaling back and don't want to spend as much AND all my supplier costs went up the past couple months. ugh.

  5. Jess - I work with small businesses every day. They generate the bulk of the jobs in America and unfortunately bear the brunt of everything too.

Joanna - Nobody is worth over $8,000 per hour.

    PHO - haha. Me too!
