Bucket of races...

Rest day today!

--------------

Do you have a bucket list?  I don't particularly have one for life in general but I mean a list of races that you would like to accomplish.  Here's a list of races that I would love to do someday:

1) NYC Marathon - still my #1 race I want to do(the rest are in no particular order)  If I could find a reasonably cheap way to do this race, I would do it sooner rather than later.

2) Chicago Marathon - I will likely run this next year!

3) The Hot Chocolate 15k - sounds like fun and they are coming to several cities

4) Marine Corp Marathon - the peoples marathon

5) Rock n Roll Las Vegas 1/2 - who would not want to run down the strip at night?

6) North Country trail 1/2 marathon - largest 1/2 marathon medal in the US and in Michigan!
Unfortunately it's the same day as the Crim :( and I would hate to miss Crim.

7) Any Northface 1/2 or full marathon - the ads look incredible and I love my NF jacket!
8) St. George Ironman race - if you're going to go, go big!

9) St. George Marathon - incredible views and not a huge race and all downhill!

10) Hood to coast relay - looks unbelievable!

So there you have it, some of the races I dream to run someday.  I figure I'll need about an extra year of work prior to retirement just to pay for it all.  Also, for those of you that notice, Boston is not on this list, and there is a reason.  It's likely I'll never qualify for it and I can't see running it for charity because I would not want to take away from someone that does qualify.  By the way, if I qualified, I would run it.

Question of the day?  What's a race you would like to run next season?

Have a great day and...Keep Running!!!!!

  3. I love the Will Run for Chocolate!! I did the NF Endurance Challenge in KC just a few weeks ago, but i just did the 10K. It was very well organized. NF has their stuff together.

I want to do a race on the beach, like Maui, yes that would be the best.
