Third quarter recap!!!


Well, I think I had a pretty good third quarter overall in regards to fitness(July-September).  Take a look:

Miles Run: 474.54 - all for marathon training which started for me on July 1

Miles Biked: 59.13 - biked to train for my first Sprint triathlon

Miles Swam: 0.84 - swam to train for my first Sprint triathlon(ha - not much though)

Weights workouts:  26 workouts

Yoga workouts:  51 workouts

Races:  Six races total:  2 half marathons, 1 triathlon, 1 - 10 mile, 1 - 10k, 1 - 1 mile race

I ran quite a few miles this last quarter but of this has been through the marathon training cycle so I should have that many miles!  A couple things have really helped keep me healthy for running and that's the weights and yoga sessions.  The yoga has especially helped me stay healthy.  I cannot believe the benefits and feel much better compared to my other marathon training cycles.  I've also had a bad habit in the past and usually stop weight training when marathon training gets tough but I've not stopped it this time around and it's worked well for me.

  1. I'm a slacker when it comes to keeping track of my races or runs. I couldn't tell you how many races I've done unless I go back through my blog and count them. Ha!

    Good job Jeff. You will do well in your marathon.
