Songs - need help

Did 10 miles on the exercise bike today and worked out on the Bowflex.  Here's my view!

Today what I really, really need is some new suggestions for songs for my ipod.  I have grown tired of the songs that I have on there now.  I even know what the next song is before it starts.  That tells you how long they have been on there.  Anyway, if you have time, please give me a couple of your favorite songs to run to so I can try them out.  Thanks, in advance, for your input.

Have a great day and......Keep Running!

  1. These are some songs that get me pumped when running... maybe they will do the same for your biking!
    -Lady Gaga - Teeth
-Goo Goo Dolls - Big Machine
    -Against me - Thrash Unreal
-Black Eyed Peas latest album: "The E.N.D." - I downloaded this album for $5 on amazon...it has really good workout music!

    Weird stuff:
-Battle Star Galactica/Bear McCreary- All Along the Watchtower cover - this song gets me through the last part of any workout!!
-Leslie Hall - Tight Pants (Body Rolls) & How We Go Out - both are really weird/awful songs but they get me super pumped when I'm running!!

  7. Dude, I demand that you go out right this instant and buy a much bigger T.V. Tell The Mrs I insisted. I'm gonna have to take away your Man Card with that little thing.

As for music, I say download the entire album called Metallica (aka The Black Album).

  8. There is a new song I'm using for Zumba called "Hella Decale" by Doukali. There's no way you cannot move when you hear that song, whether it's dancing or running!

  10. I'm one of those crazy people that can't run with music. I usually run without anything, but if I take my iPod, I'll load an audio book onto it.

    Strange, I know. :-)

  15. Your profile says that you're into country and rap. I can't help you in the country department, but here are a few rap/hip hop songs that might be fun:
    Sabotage - Beastie Boys
    Empire State of Mind - Jay-Z/Alicia K
    Blame It - Jamie Foxx
The Way I Are - Timberland
    Lose Yourself - Eminem
Like Water for Chocolate album - Common
    One Thing - Amerie
Also check out Beck. Not really rap, but his stuff is very runnable. I seem to have many more tunes of the indie and 80s/90s alternative variety. ;)
