Extreme running......

Well I'm certainly not an extreme runner when it comes to distances but what I'm referring to is my running this week.  It started off with a run on Sunday evening in a blizzard.

As crazy as I thought it was running in six inches of snow which eventually led to 12-18 inches in our area, then the temperatures took a downturn.

Over the week, it had to have been a record change in temperature in such a short period of time.  This is the temperature of the start of my Tuesday morning run, a run which I'm guessing will go down as my coldest run ever for a very, very long time:
Coldest I've ever run in.
After Tuesday's run(disclaimer:  I have proper equipment to run in these temperatures so don't try this unless you do)
It was pretty crazy running in those temperatures for a couple days.  Then, this is the temperature of the start of my run this morning:
Much better
During today's run
That is a 50 degree difference and, if you factor in the "feels like" temperature, it was a 64 degree difference.  This is from Tuesday to Saturday people!!!!  4 days difference.  I've never seen anything like it in my life.

In these last five days, I've run in colder temps, warmer temps, a snowstorm, icy conditions, windy conditions, foggy weather, and wet, rainy weather.  You name it and I have done in in the last four days.

Yes, I am an outdoor runner in Michigan.  Just another day in paradise.

Have a great day and....Keep Running!!!!
