As some of you may know, this year the Kona Running Company is offering the Triple Crown. What is it? Run three race(noted above) and receive more bling! I'm in!
1) Run and complete the ShamRock 'n' Roll 10k or 5k on 3/17/13
2) Run and complete the Kona 10 mile, 10k or 5k on 6/8/13
3) Run and complete the Wicked Halloween 10k or 5k on 10/27/13
4) Receive the Kona Triple Crown Series medal!(shown below)
Plus if you are fast, and I mean really fast, you have an opportunity at $1,000 bonus money if you can win the ShamRock 'n' Roll 10k, the Kona 10 mile and the Wicked Halloween 10k. That should make for some interesting competition this year. Not that I'm in that category. I'll be happy to run all three and get my extra medal!
Tomorrow I'll have all the details on their first race in this series, the ShamRock 'n' Roll Run.
