I know what you mean about the sauce dilema though...and of course they can't put calories or have fruit available! Ugh. Woohoo! 530 miles! That's awesome! :0)Karen Sealhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01859540994687133829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1592755595247951740.post-19408724891628309122011-01-28T21:02:38.640-05:002011-01-28T21:02:38.640-05:00wow 530 miles does sound like a LOT to me! I rarely ever eat out lunch but if I'm going out to dinner I usually order salad w/ some sort of non-meat protein source (hard boiled eggs, beans)..but usually I'm at a place with a vegetarian option I like. If not I'll eat something w/protein before I go out and then just split an appetizer, get some soup, or get a salad w/ lots of veggies.COLORADOctorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10298873398694272897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1592755595247951740.post-61743749558959034122011-01-28T15:58:34.284-05:002011-01-28T15:58:34.284-05:00I know exactly what you mean! Though if I'm craving pad thai or some other dish that far exceeds my meager spice cabinet / cooking abilities that's a whole different story..... :)Gracenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1592755595247951740.post-41848059704218589072011-01-28T13:19:48.822-05:002011-01-28T13:19:48.822-05:00yeah, i started packing a lunch. more because the...yeah, i started packing a lunch. more because the school cafeteria is frightening...sorry i'm no help!!dawn @ running the dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16189689892227962182noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1592755595247951740.post-34215719012563230792011-01-28T11:09:38.430-05:002011-01-28T11:09:38.430-05:00that would be hard! It's geared for weight watchers points, but it also lists the calories, fat, carbs, and fiber for each item it has listed. They also have an app now, but it's a litle pricey in my opinion.

http://www.dwlz.com/restaurants.htmlCrystalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11647097716101085543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1592755595247951740.post-33522839099097706352011-01-28T09:18:20.374-05:002011-01-28T09:18:20.374-05:00Well, do you remember the movie "When Harry M...Well, do you remember the movie "When Harry Met Sally?" You would be surprised sometimes at what the healthiest choices are...and usually it isn't salad. Of course, it doesn't list every restaurant, mostly just popular chains, but its worth checking out because it offers good general ideas about ordering from menus.jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17162511508342424614noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1592755595247951740.post-18969169891383254082011-01-28T08:21:12.990-05:002011-01-28T08:21:12.990-05:00i've never noticed if a restaurant has fruit. ...i've never noticed if a restaurant has fruit. i guess i go straight for the fries ;) i've found that most restaurants list whether there's a sauce on it (if not i'll ask) and always ask for it to be held. mostly because i like tomatoes on my sandwiches and that adds enough juicy stuff for me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1592755595247951740.post-5833588142139388052011-01-28T08:14:50.512-05:002011-01-28T08:14:50.512-05:00If I'm trying to eat healthy at a restaurant, ...If I'm trying to eat healthy at a restaurant, I usually stick to grilled meat, sauce on the side, and no sour cream or guacamole if they are offered.
